Its about time to introduce the last new feature in Mys v1.3.4 before the final beta testing stage, this one is called 'Improved Adopt-Levels Management'. With it, you will be able to add/edit/remove levels for adoptables in a much more convenient way. The new Level settings also enable you to control your users' actions on levelup.php. In Mys v1.3.3 I have introduced a new module system that allows users to add modules to sidebar. However, this is just the very first step towards a fully customizable widget system. In Mys v1.3.4, the Widget System is close to completion. You can play with more than just modules in the sidebar alone, instead you can add modules to all widgets or even create your own widgets(such as a right-sidebar or your own customized navtabs/menu). Wanna see how it works in action? Then follow me on this blogpost and you will see how the Widget systems in action.

Its been a while since I posted an article of Mys v1.3.4's new features. With the new trade system already in beta-testing stage, I will be composing blog posts about how it works in action. Due to the complexity of this new trade system, it will likely to be a 3-4 part series. The very first one will introduce the action of multiple adopts/items trade. Yes, in Mys v1.3.4 it will be possible to send multiple adoptables/items from/to users rather than just one. Sounds interesting doesnt it? Well I hope it does make lives more convenient this way.

I've been busy with research paper and exams over the past month, but now everything is over so I believe it's about time to give users a preview of what new features will be in Mys v1.3.4. The very first new feature is not that new though, it is a theme editor. Mysidia's old theme editor was flawed to begin with, and this new one will be a significant improvement over the old version. To access theme editor, all you have to do is to go to AdminCP and click on one of the four available items inside the new sidebar menu called 'Themes'. For full coverage of Theme editor and related features, visit the link below for in-depth explanation of how the system works: |

Well many of you may be wondering what I've been doing for Mys v1.3.4's development lately. The fact is that I am working on a project capable of handling collections of objects flexibly and professionally. It is called PHP Collections Framework, which is based on Java's Collections Framework. It is highly object-oriented, and will prove to be quite useful when Mys v1.4.0 comes out. Right now the script has difficulty handling collections, the problem will be resolved in not-so-distant future. For those of you familiar with Data Structure, this is exactly what the Collections Framework is originally designed for. PHP's array is actually a quite popular and powerful data structure, but it still has issues. It is not object-oriented, nor does it provide some object oriented features. The Collections Framework is designed to replace PHP arrays. At this point the Collections Framework has the following basic data structures: HashSet, LinkedHashSet, TreeSet, ArrayList, LinkedList, Stack, ArrayDeque, PriorityQueue, HashMap, LinkedHashMap and TreeMap. These data structures specialize at handling various types of collections, and they can be easily converted from/into each other. For more information regarding PHP Collections Frameworks, visit this link below for full coverage of this feature: |
